Avalon Dreams
The idea for Avalon Dreams was conceived for a symposium on propogation and it is with the relationship to the thorn of Avalon ect ect the full explanation is at the begining of this thread. What it has done is given me the platform to develop a different way to display . At the ABBA symposium on the weekend there was a debate about this very subject and it was with great interest that I listened to all involved and none more so than the great man himself Dan Barton, Dan pointed out that this great disipline of ours was first called Penjin in China, then the Japanese embrassed it as Bonsai and maybe in time the western world will find its own name!

Re: AVALON DREAMS
I love the almost abstract scroll in the first picture: is it ancient?
Beautiful, a lot of harmony and serenity in that display.

Hi AlianK
The scroll is a tea room scroll maybe 100 or more years old and is part of a large collection that myself and Jerry (URO) have built up over the last few years once you start using this type of scroll there is no going back, they are often very long and a bit wide but they are incredible things to add that x factor to the display.
Regards Chris
