Re: Shohin Cotoneaster.
Thankyou ALL for your very kind comments. This Cotoneaster fruits very well but the flowers are very poor. Little pink buds appear, then only open very slightly before pollination and then wither. I think the turquoise glaze is best suited to the leaf colour and red berries too.

Only "great"!!!!
Your choice on pot #1 is very good. I like this colour.

Some good, quick progress there Will. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in it's new pot!
Did I mention I'm rather envious... I've been wanting a proper cotoneaster for quite some time now... And this one ROCKS!

Very Nice!
Can't wait to see it in a pot, hopefully that turquoise one, in the spring!

Peter. This is a virtual and the tree is bigger and better proportioned in real life. This tree is also in its first year of development as well and will be a much fuller image in time.Peter E. wrote:Oh, come'on!
Lovely pot but far to big for this one.

Nice tree, this pot goes along very well, I am sure it will be nicer in the next repotting when you can center the trunk.

Hi Will,
Really nice tree and great choice of pot.
I'd love to see it in winter with a few red berries on it - if you can keep the birds away from them.
