Nice work Lee
nothing to do with how much the tree cost,
it,s all about what the artist does with the material, how many
times have material costing an arm and leg been butchered in
the wrong hands
couple more years on the pads and you
got a little cracker there ,nice one!!!!
regards Alex e

Re: San jose juniper
Thanks Lee. I only did it cos I was missing it so much!
This has become a lovely San Jose with your styling, but I too think the pot appears too small. It's right for a Literati tree but I think the trunk on this one is too thick to fit that style.

Re: San jose juniper
It's a very nice tree, but I agree that the pot is unsuitable. The tree is not a literati, but an informal upright, and as such does not belong in a round pot. I would pick a rectangular one, possibly with soft corners.
Also, the slab on which it is displayed is too small for my taste.
