Trident over rock
I repotted this small Trident over rock a few weeks ago. It leafed out already, well ahead of my larger Trident maples. After taking a photo today I was disappointed with the image and then realized I'd repotted it with an unintended tilt to the left. I again repotted it as seen in the second image (it will be fine) and trimmed a few wayward branches. I'm happier now.
The tree is now in the basement as our temps have again swung from the 70F range back to the 20F range!

Re: Trident over rock
John, Your tree looks great. I have done the same thing many times, but most of the time I just leave it till next repot. Too many trees to work on.
Hope to see Sunday.

Re: Trident over rock
Looks nice John,
Can you clip those few leaves in front of the rock so we can see more of the stone?
