Acer palmatum 'Deshojo'

Hi all,
Since two years I have this 'Deshojo' in my garden and it the new leaves are looking amazing just now. We had a very strong last winter in Germany and I was a little bit anxious that it would get a root damage. But this specimen seems to be stronger as suspected. Some days ago it got a new pot.

it is one of my favorite variety of Japanese maple.

I like this variety also, the Spring colour of the leaves is a real knockout, but I find it lacks the vigour of other Japanese maples. Not that that stops me from growing them.

Reiner, I don't have so many experience with other Japanese maples and hope to be happy for a long time with my 'Deshojo'.
