Agreed, such a beautiful bonsai.
Everything, the tree, the pot, and the stand capture a stunning harmony.

Re: Kengai from VietNam
Very nice cascade tree. I agree with others that it is a perfect harmony of tree-pot-stand to create look of being very old and a feeling of antiquity. It is almost ironic that those inexpensive old Chinese green glazed(with people/dogs) pots from late 80s-early90's are criticized . Many of us(myself) have one of those pots and quickly put a very old Ficus/Chinese Elm/Hackberry,etc into a Japanese(usually unglazed Tokoname) pot just because Chinese pot made from a mold. We(myself) traded antiquity for status(chop/signed) under pot. Dustin Mann

Wonderful composition. I find it very refreshing to see something that is not so rigid and "Japanese" yet have classic lines and impressive form.
Well done.
Thank you for sharing.

Nice styling.
Love the artistry in your styling of your trees - the last tree especially is very dramatic.
Good work.

Are the last three pics not of the same tree? And is it the one you showed as raw material in the fourth pic from the end? If so, I think it should have its own thread.

Can you tell us what species these trees are? Also, regarding the ornament on your first tree. Does it have any significance, like a holiday, or is it just for decoration?

Re: Kengai from VietNam
i love the 2nd tree, the one with the cute baby model. i think that is a Casuarina right? in Thai I think its ต้นสน จำพวก dtôn sŏn jam pûak, please correct me it i'm wrong.
anyhow, i was inspired so i drove around 10 garden shops in Phuket until I found a nice tree and i wired it up like this
i realize its the ugliest wire job you've probably ever seen, i'm just trying to get the basic shape and then let it grow for a few months
i re potted this tree in a mixture of potting mix and fine crushed stone. i hope its ok, it was originally in chopped coconut husk but i didn't feel that was good for a bonsai pot in the future.
