Spring Maple Empty Spring Maple

One of my favorite times to enjoy the threadleaf maple is early spring before the leaves have fully opened and hardened off...in that regard I wished to share this image.

Lovely. I'm not usually a fan of the threadleaf as a bonsai, but that's a beautiful image.

beautiful tree! I have always wanted to do one, I just havent found a stock tree yet with a low enough or good enough graft.

was this tree a graft or from seed?
