Carpinus betulus / grab
When I found it, drew me a great nebari meaningful and some branches. The first season I've decided where to cut, and when the decision was dropped, he began to increasingly resemble the good material ... Development from 2008-2010 ... celbet still have to paint the bowl.

good choice for movement and natural balance to cut there! ... just be patient in pruning the next years. you schould let the lower branches go for more diameter, while you work a lot on the top to hold it fine. if you wanna develop faster, use a bigger pot, because the smaller the pot...
think youre on the right way to get pretty fast a nice natural tree...

Thanks Helmut
Of course, there are a lot of work and years of development.

Mario, great choice with the chop. This one will be a good tree.
I am also pleased to see that you develop trees in shallow pots. Most would put them in a large box to grow the tree quickly.
I have always developed my trees slowly in pots. I saves time later when they have the branches.

Thanks! When the pot has enough moisture and air, it does not matter how shallow. Of course, nutrition must be good.
