Looking good, Jim! Curiously, your wisteria are ahead of mine as my wisteria flower buds are just now swelling. (Jim lives a couple of hours north of me)

The secret to that, John, is that I bring my wisteria into the sun room in February, sit them in pots of water, and force the blooms.

It's the tip of an elephant tusk, bought at the Hong Kong ivory market in 1951 -- well before CITES. And before someone asks, I have no idea what the writing on the tusk says -- probably: "For Sale, Cheap, to silly foreigner." The pot was bought in HK at about the same time. It is one of the very few blue pots that I care for.
