Some pots for the new gallery

A few pots from my holiday weekend.
I'll have to see if I can fit a few of these in the baggage to Puerto Rico on wednesday.

The Dry Riverbed pots are nice. I was in San Diego over the last two day and it seemed pretty dry. One pond had dried up and it had an amazing cracked texture. Should have photographed it.

Yes Rob I've noticed some a few times. I do have a lot of yours either from virtuals or that I took at BSF shows.

Drying,
A rectangle bamboo pot.

I finally got a few things fired that had been sitting for some time while I attended to other HOBBIES!
First, here is the finished bamboo square from the last post.
This is a new clay and I'm really liking the color and texture.

This round pot is a bamboo and rivet combo. Quite a bit of time involved.
I really like this one!!

A bamboo round, a bit taller

This bamboo round is a little more shallow than the previous one and it has a nice bamboo band around the bottom.

Here is my favorite one. A bamboo oval. I have to try to get some better pics of this pot. it is very nice indeed. I really need to improve my photo setup!

Here is a round 'dry riverbed' bunjin pot with simple old square feet.

Here is a 3-clay layered 'dry riverbed' pot. I need to get a shot of this one from inside.

Something new I'll be doing a lot of. Vertical banded rivet pots with old style rivets.
This pot is fairly large.

Last for right now until I get some better shots of some of these pots....and unload the other kiln....

Here is a 4-fire shohin pot that I just couldn't stop horsing around with!
