Spring has SPRANG!
Yesterday, the American red maples were bare and brown. Today, they are red and orange with new blooms -- EVERYWHERE up here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge! The red maple (Acer rubrum) is the FIRST tree to bloom around here (down in north Florida it was the Chickasaw plum, Prunus angustifolia, usually followed about a day later by the red maple, but I don't see any plums around here.)

What do you think Jim, one more snow day in the future for us?

I know..... I'm trying to hold off on re-potting until the time is right. I'm getting the Spring Fever but, knowing our luck, we will end up with 12" as soon as I'm done.
