Where is the best place for collecting trees near Philadelphia PA?
Thought I'd join in....
Has anyone found Premium locations for collection in or around Philadelphia Pa USA?
I have found some very interesting trees growing in the most random places. Even IN the city.

I've found that city parks departments are always re-doing park landscaping. If you get to know someone in park maintenance, you could get a heads up before they rip out a 50-year-old boxwood hedge, or dig up a bunch of large azaleas.

Jim thats a great idea! I might have to "grease the wheel" a bit to get a contact but that would be fantastic having a heads up.
Yes Jay, we have a few.
My favorite would be the Ginkgo that fruit once a year and fill the city with stench. Cracks me up thinking about how they only needed to plant the "male" Ginkgo and we wouldn't have this issue. Although some people utilize the fruit. But they are few in numbers.
