I dont think your firethorn is a shohin.

It has 25 cmts. of the edge of the vase until the apex.
Here we base on them on this measure.

Okay it seemed a litle bigger , yes its a shohin.

No mistake Luciano...25cm, 10 inches...close enough. These numbers are really just guides anyway...more important is that you can pick it up with one hand.

I do agree with Peter though...it does look taller.

Anyway...nice bonsai, and beautiful Jewish girl. I can tell that you are a proud father...
