JACARANDA BONSAI

As a beginner I began a Jacaranda bonsai from seed. The bonsai is about 2 years old in a planting mix of 1/3 Hard Japanese Akadama - 1/3 Pumice - 1/3 USA Sourced Black Lava - A Bit of Horticultural Charcoal & Granite Added. To date it has not been pruned and would appreciate tips on best way to do so. Located in Kauai HI. so outdoors full time. Thanks.
