Outstanding...very beautiful. I can only imagine the amount of attention necessary to keep a garden in such a refined state. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the comments,
I spend 3 hrs a week in this garden.
The cordyline will be staying out ,it is their first year so we will see how they get on.

Nice job there fella. It certainly looks like you spend more than 3 hours a week on that patch!
Great to see another enthusiastic multi-skilled horticulturalist.
In a protected spot cordyline aus. should be okay, just need to tie up the leaves and wrap them and the trunk in fleece or burlap throgh any real cold spells.
Regards Nick

Great garden Smithy, you obviously have got a good pair of green thumbs and you must be good at multi tasking if you spend only 3 hours a week on it
I can defenitely can see some Niwaki inspiration here.

You can come and spend 3 hours a week in my garden if you can transform it to look like this one

I must not take all the credit as the owners had kept it spotless up until i took over looking after it, so i didn't have to really transform this one but just give it a niwaki twist. The owners now who are getting not so agile can watch me buzz in for 3 hrs a week . They don't have to worry about anything in the garden, they let me just get on with it but they do get some one to cut the lawn in the summer so i don't waste time on it. They like the place spotless so i keep it spotless. .
You can get a lot done in the 3 hrs over 5years .
After that job i go on and do this one which i do 4 hour a month .
