Quercus gambelii – Scrub / Gambel Oak

I was lucky enough to find a massive trunk-ed horizontal growing Quercus gambelii – Scrub / Gambel Oak tree growing on a boulder somewhere west of I-25 highway and east of the Pacific Coast highway. I spent several hours extracting the tree despite the cold hard granite guarding the trees roots. I have created a new page for my on my website:  HERE
