SCRUB LOT ACCENT
i pass this gravel lot in an abandoned gas station every day and never gave it a second look except to sigh at the urban blight
but then i saw this (and thought of the eels song "a daisy through concrete" )
literally 15 minutes later it became this
good to keep your eyes open...
you never know when beauty will poke its head out of ugly.

Re: SCRUB LOT ACCENT
Lovely little accent. Probably tough as old boots too, given where it came from.

Hehehee......Kev Bailey said "boots"...............
Sorry, bro.....I will be smiling ALL DAY!!!!!
Heheheeheheee......
Serious.....I'll try.....looks a little tall as an accent, unless you've got some large material and an appropriate sized display table. Would it perhaps look a little better if you could somehow get them closer together? So the don't splay out willy-nilly?
I know little of display etiquette, mind you. Just an un-informed opinion! God-bless the intrawebby!!!!

Re: SCRUB LOT ACCENT
thanks kev !
mac - admittedly it may be a bit on the tall side to use with a tree (unless it is a very large tree), but my thought was a stand alone accent which i guess by definition is no accent at all...
maybe more of a companion planting... but accompanying nothing.
hhhmmm... i gotta give that some more thought

Good spot Kevin. There is a beauty all around us. A man just need something more than a pair of eyes to see it.

No tough old boot there!

Re: SCRUB LOT ACCENT
Someone's having a meltdown allright.
I don't wear shoes at all most of the time.
I take out the garbage and get the mail barefoot even during the winter.
But then again I'm an animal with hairy, calloused feet and don't need to rely on insulated (puffy) boots.
And blame all of this on Lance,Kevin. He's the one that brought it up.
The puffy boots that is.
