The aquilegia is stunning. Was that taken recently - ours don't emerge from winter gloom until at least mid-April.

Mine don't flower until they hit at least 2ft tall. What's the trick to getting them to bloom at a few inches?

This is one of the dwarf-ish varieties (though I don't know its name) and it was last year that I photographed it. But several of my dwarf 'granny's bonnet's' are showing flowers at the moment although the regular garden varieties are way behind. Glad you like it. cheers, Dan

Dan, I recall that it may be "Little Lanterns" ? ...a dwarf variety. Does that "ring a bell" ?

Cheers, Mark

No, it doesn't ring a bell but I'm sure you're right. Cheers, Dan

Meanwhile, here's one I do know the name of — it's A. flabella Cameo White and I photographed it 10 minutes ago!

Shucks!!! Embarassed

I have just completed 2 glaze firings and will be posting many more accent and shohin pots on my personal website over the next few weeks and some more accent plants as they emerge from their winter slumber. So you may care to take a peek soon..... still need to crop and 'polish' the pics!

ps — how do you add the emoticons to the end of a sentence?

I will for sure take a look at those pots Very Happy
Emoticons should arrive at the end of the sentence if you make one space between the last word and were the emoticon shall be Smile
I am a man Dan (sounds cool somehow), so I cant judge and tell if you are beautiful Dan, but I trust Fiona fully in this matter ...

Morten

You should see the smileys to choose from to the right of your Post A Reply panel. Just single click on the one you want to use and it will add it where your cursor is.

If it's not where you want it to be, either just reposition your cursor and try again or cut and paste the one you inserted.

ThumbsUp

Edit: oops - see you've already got it sorted.
