Shohin stand_Apple wood
I do like apple wood. Most of it combines the dark core wood with the light sap wood. It is reasonably close to a black wallnut - but the sap wood is usually quite thick and sometimes the core wood is much lighter than the one used on this table.
It is definitely not a very common type of wood for a bonsai stand...
Anyway, here it is.
Dimensions: 21 x 17 x 5,4 cm / 8,3 x 6,7 x 2,1''
Straithforward design. The colour of the wood is the key. For a comparison - the table below is from a black wallnut. No stains just a tung oil with some resin on both of them. Mitered joints - spent some time to figure it out

Very nice stands. I like the contrast of the sap and heart wood. However, it will take a fairly powerful tree to stand out visually from the stand.
