Kevin Willson: 'Deadwood Demo' at UBI Bonsai Exhibition 2014 in Torino, Italy.

Kevin Willson is one of a few, who excels in the creation of deadwood. Indeed, one can define him as a remarkable 'virtuoso' in this artistic pursuit. In this video he creates deadwood on the massive trunk of an olive, simulating that in very old Olives found on the island of Majorca (the largest island in the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain and located in the Mediterranean) . First he does 'bulk carving' by hollowing the middle of the trunk and then he creates naturalistic 'detailed carving'.
