deadwood on Satsuki
Wondering if it's something that can be stabilized or if deadwood on Azalea is probably going to rot and dissolve over time. The particular tree has shari much like a juniper would all the way up the trunk, twisting with live vein on the other side. Considering a purchase, so want to be thoughtful about that possibility. Thanks!

Judy... All deadwood can be hardened and preserved and there are lots of products out there for it...
I have used Minwax wood hardener, and another good one is PC Petrifier

I have used the minwax product on other trees, for some reason I have just heard that Azalea wood can't be saved from rotting. Have you had luck using these methods specifically on azalea?
