I'm determined to get it right. I'll have another go tomorrow, pots too small anyway.

Good pot choice. Funnily enough I had been looking through Peter's stuff and had identified that one and a few others as well as possibilities. If it's too small it's only very slightly, and if I don't lose much (or even anything) - off the bottom of the trunk, then it might in fact be ideal. It's always difficult to tell anyway when we are doing this all remotely from photographs.

Did you see Lee's contribution?

Hi Fiona,

your bonsai is really beautiful.

This pots forms fit well with the tree shapes.
The pot surfaces can be unglazed, that's a matter of taste. I would prefer a glazed pot.

Hi Will,

Thanks for the virtual.

Yes, yes, .. all of these problems has a potter too, too big, too small, too high, too low, etc.
But I think that makes life exciting. Very Happy

Yes I did see Lee's contribution, and its a lot more considered than mine. Lee's shows the structure, where mine, only shows the silhouette Sad . Good to see he'd had enough and left the pot though Very Happy
