New to Suiseki

Hello IBC,

I'm new to Suiseki, though I have loved the mountains around the world for the longest time (I'm originally from the land of the Himalayas - Pakistan). I just bought a beautiful piece of raw petrified wood on eBay and I need suggestions on some ideas on where the base will be cut (based on the angle and the formation of the rock).

I'd also like to know who can help with cutting it. I live in a southwest suburb of Chicago.
