Alain - Very nice. Is the 2nd one a paperbark maple (Acer griseum)? if so, any cultivation suggestions to develop ramification without long internodes? - Marty

@ Marty,

Yes, this is Acer griseum. Since it was not bought to make it a bonsai, I haven't thought about reducing the internodes, it's one of quite a few I keep as patio trees.I just prune them from time to time so they don't grow too high.
