Toyama-ishi 2017

This week I finished dai for another stone, Toyama-ishi. The material is basalt from the Jizera River in the Czech Republic-yoseki about 10 years (this material has not changed its surface ).Dai maple, alcohol mordant mix of colors+matt varnish. The dimensions of 20x10x12 cm. Inside the cavity in the middle quartzite stone formation, remotely similar to heart. Therefore, given this suiseki poetic name "mountain revealing the heart."
