The pot is a little big for the tree, but for the next 2 years
I believe it's not too bad..
Maybe one new with the same design, but smaller in the future?

if you can get another pot similar but smaller, that would make it even better...

or perhaps potting higher in the pot, in a mound, would decrease the apparent size of the pot ?
(which in my eyes isnt horribly large)

Mounding imakes it harder to water but more importantly it will put fine roots at the surface at risk for drying out.
Also bonsai should planted so that the nebari are just visible above the pot rim or level with it.
It's one of the rules I try to follow as much as possible.
