work on jp's
Hi, its mario here, I am still having trouble registering myself on this forum (I have tried with 2 different emails but never received any confirmation, admin - can you please help me - thanks)
Last weekend I did a workshop, held by Jean Paul. And I had a really great time. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did!
After the workshop, I stayed at Jean Paul's place and had the opportunity to work on some of his amazing trees. I really enjoyed working at his studio and look forward to return. On Monday I did a red pine which has very good potential. When it will be in the right pot, and have a better refinement, it would be up to 'Kokufu' standard, in my opinion. It has very old bark and the trunk has fantastic movement. Branches are old and have good positioning. Spectacular example of a kengai red pine!
On Tuesday I restyled one of Jean Paul's favourite trees, a white pine. Have a look at the photos, hope you like the new designs.

Oh yea. Marissa
Thank you for posting.
I rarely comment on others work, but your styling is much to my taste and I need to congragulate you.
Fine work. Well done.
Good material, made great by refined styling and artistic vision.

Very nice work.
Yes Jim,
But he posted it with the account of his girlfriend Marissa. He has a personal account too, but has problems with logging in, or did not succeed in creating his own.. Maybe you can help him with this. I am sure this forum will benifit a lot by doing this.
Thank you.
