Nice tree. I really like needle junipers. You must be trying to gain some girth on that long branch.

Advice, I will give you none, junipers are not friendly with me
Comment: there's a nice, natural movement is to the right, then there's a straight part on the top half. I'm curious to read more from savvy enthusiasts about how they would deal with that...

I also like the great movement below.But it seems to me(and my eyes are not so great)that the upper straight bit has a reverse taper there.It may be the photo.

Hello Numa.
I think i know this variety. (Dutch nursery?) Better be careful and do anything to this tree this coming growing season.
Watch for sudden dying back of branches.
I have 17 junipers in pot and never lost one, but this one i lost and remember from others loosing these.
I don't say they are not suitable, but better be slow with changes.
