Quite nice. I suggest another, smaller, low stone (or stone shelf) to the right of the large stone.

as you were creating this, i wonder what your thoughts were about the tree that appears to be bent over the top of the rock... ?
and i agree w/ jim too... the "centerness" of the rock might be offset some by the suggested addition...

Is that a marble tray? Very good. Will only get better as the trees age and refine. If you wanted to add another stone as suggested, how would you add it without too much disturbance to the rest of the planting?

george, i reckon you were asking the OPer, but if it were me, i would look for something considerably smaller than the main rock and triangularish, placed between the rock and the right hand tree, but close to the right hand rock... with the downward slope of the smaller rock following the upper downward slope of the main rock... almost as if they were 1 rock at one time and have since split along a fissure...
