I was sound asleep when it occured, and I didn't know it was called "Blood Moon" in English

Before reading your post, I saw the picture, and I thought "well, a bit early for "une lune rousse"".

For here, a "red-haired moon" in autumn is a sign that it's very likely there will be frost the next morning.
