Hi IBC,

I was looking at old posts and came across one of jun llaga's... He said that you're supposed to make ixora grow like a shrub. Did he mean that we should just trim it at the edges in order to shape it? Or should we use wire to put the branches into place? How do you style an ixora? Please help.

Thanks,
Danjo

Danjo,

take a look at these images.

https://www.google.tt/search?q=ixora+bonsai&biw=1366&bih=667&espv=2&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CBoQsARqFQoTCLGNiMDSg8gCFcIaHgodECwA5w&dpr=1

Or if the page does not work - Google - Ixora Bonsai.

Pretty self explanatory, and you can write to Jun, easy guy talk to to. He used to be on Facebook as well.
Best to you.

Khaimraj,

Thank you sir! So it definitely needs some wiring. I was under the impression that sir jun just let it grow and then cut it to shape like a bonsai when he said that we should treat them as shrubs. Anyway, thanks! Will be posting progress of my ixora in discussions.

Cheers!
