Japanese Maple Seedlings With Both Red And Green Leaves
I collected and started some japanese maple seedlings. They have 6 months of growth from
germination. The first 6 inches or so of the seedlings carry green leaves. Above this level, though,
the leaves are all burgundy. I don't care if the trees are red, green, or variegated, but I'd like each
tree to have the same color leaves everywhere. Will these seedlings eventually settle on one color all
over the plant, or will I always have a mish mash?

I'm sure that after a year or two they'll pick one and be more consistent.
