Re: Forest Cascade Juniper Number 2
I think you are liking the cascade style a bit too much
On a serious note, I think that is an interesting vision... I would like to see a picture of something like this in nature. About the tree; maybe it will be a bit more effective to air-layer the roots up the trunk (maybe 3 to 4 inches) bringing it closer to the foliage, or you can grow the individuals trunks a bit longer.

I am thinking about air layer too and I would do that once I have the right idea for the container , maybe that would be the thin rock slap long horizontal , not so sure yet now.

Re: Forest Cascade Juniper Number 2
I wouldn't air layer. I'm loving this use of the jin to create the illusion of something unrelated to the tree. First the cloudline and now a mountainside. I wonder if you shari'd the remaining trunk above the main piece if it would continue the line created by the jin below and complete the illusion of a snowy mountainside. I really love this one by the way. Your first mountainside cascade was very avant garde and modern, very Kimura-esque, but this one is much softer, more natural, more integrated. what to do about a pot though? something unconventional i hope....
