Re: Maple repot
was that did at that repotting workshop thang you mentioned ?
hopin' so, cuz that high falutin' macadam ingrediment sho' nuff aint cheap or easy to come by
seriously though, looks alot better off-set in the new pot and it is gorgeous george in leaf !
cool to see you got the pic posting thing wired...
you can stick more than 1 pic in a post though... after you cut and paste the code for the first picture into the post, just go back to choose image and start over, posting as many as you want into the post... heck, you can even stick some words in between the pics !
btw - glad to see you didnt ask for stylin' advice...
because we both know what many would suggest

Yeppers.....nursery just a half an hour down the interstate. Brought the Akamama along with us. The tree has great character, some OLD healed-over scars and such. Why would ya' chop it ? I ain't gotta worry, it ain't mine!! But I'm sure I'll be asked to water from time to time. Did I mention this thing weighs a million or so stone!?!? A REALLY pleasant experience getting it back in the truck, wrapped and tied down. But no way anything like gettin' it back in the root-cellar!! Can you say "back spasms"?

Lovely repot sequence. Thanks. I'm about to get started on mine. I'll try to get pics of the "hoist" that I use for heavier trees.

Yes, please include any photo's when you are using block and tackle to move your materials!! How great is that?!?! It was a fun day, for sure. Hopefully the other folks there didn't mind me pinballin' around!! Look, she had a pretty smile and I only told her to use a chopstick.......

Very nice tree! Needs some ramification and a little less pine look but I like it!
