Some very fine trees here. Great variety and attention to detail.
The 7th image down could be named "Inazuma" (Lightning)
Gotta love the British Soldier lichen.

Thank you.
I like the "Inazuma" (Lightning) name for my twin trunk hawthorn.
I try not to name my own trees myself, so it is very welcome when someone see for me.

"Gotta love the British Soldier lichen." Those particular soldiers are definatley Welsh.

Thank you Stephen. Moving it is not so much fun. The owner of the elm, Chris, I think considers it as more a patio or enterance tree.

This is the fifth year Chris has hosted the Winter show outdoors.
Good company. good bonsai, interactive demo's, great food and shared bonsai passion = An enjoyable and successful show.
This is the first time it has rained in the 5 years. But we all carried on as usual,
Q.E.D. Bonsai can affect you mental state.

Dang! Missed it again. Will get down to one eventually Jerry. Looks like it was a brilliant show. Well done to you, Chris and all others involved.

Bonllwyn's next open show will be on Sunday Jun 28th. The Summer open show.
Including, outdoors displays and demos + alcove photo shoots and open discussion, indoors.

Followed by the Margam show on Fri. Aug 28th to Mon. 31st.
The Climax of the year where our Dragon Bonsai Society host the public in their own Marquee at the Traditional Margam Show.
Exhibits of Members and Guest Bonsai are displayed as well as demonstrations for the beginner are scheduled.
A retail Bonsai stand is sited and a lively Tombola in action.

You are always welcome. Bring a tree or three to show.

DAMN MISSED IT TOO!!! I awlays seem to be elseware, I will have to stop this pot making lark it seems to be getting in the way
