Question about Elephant Bush
Since admiring Kevin's elephant bush, I decided I wanted to try one. Lo and behold, at the local plant rescue I found one grown as a houseplant- 3' tall, lots of long curling branches, and a trunk 1.5" diameter at the base. The problem is that it is in a 3-gallon pot in some kind of poor draining soil. Also, it has recently lost all its leaves, either due to cold or poor soil. I think cold, because I don't see any signs of rot. It is starting to sprout new leaves now. $5 was the asking price
My question is, can I repot this time of year like with a jade or should I wait for Spring?

PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES MAN
I KNOW THAT ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION DOES NOT REQUIRE PICTURES
AND THAT ME SHOUTING LIKE THIS IS ALSO NOT NECESSARY, BUT STILL...
PICTURES, MAN PICTURES !!!
oh, yeah and as with most repotting of tropicals, it all depends on after care/conditions and how much (or how little) root work...
i just removed a large branch from one of mine and am currently rooting it...
but in a south facing window (northern hemisphere i should add) with tons o sun.

Why a picture? It's a horticultural question! Well, here you go, and I think it's pretty accurate!

andre... when it is daytime by you, it is night time here, so i believe the shade of lipstick is appropriate...
