New North Staffs & Stoke Bonsai Group
Just a note to anyone in the North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent areas that the 'Potteries Bonsai Group' which has been struggling for membership for a while and the old 'North Staffs Bonsai Society', which folded some time ago, have now effectively been merged to create the North Staffs & Stoke Bonsai Group.
Things here are changing and we are keen to hear from ex-members who previously voted with their feet, or any local enthusiasts who may be interested in seeing our group develop and support them in meaningful ways. In particular we are after people's feedback, thoughts, advice and wants, so that our future members can shape what we do and how we do it. To get involved people can either:-
The old clubs took time to deteriorate and we are not rushing for overnight fixes, but we do have ambition and a clear sense of purpose in wanting to build things back up again and bring enthusiasm and life back to what was once a vibrant club. Importantly, we believe we also have a broader role to play in supporting both skilled enthusiasts and newcomers in our area over the months and hopefully years to come.
All feedback, interest and offers of support will be valued... Thanks.
