Winter Care
I'm in North Georgia approx 2000 Ft. elv. zone 6 to 7. Problem that I have is that we get days that are cold then 2 days later have a temp swing of 30 to 40 degrees. Looking for ideas on how to winter my plants this year mostly junnipers and maples. Have a area on the northside of our house under deck that I can use that is pretty well protected. Thanks for any help or input.

Re: Winter Care
I'm just east of you in the NC foothills. Same weather pattern. Your Junipers and (I assume) Japanese maples should be able to take that kind of weather. Under a porch will be fine (though you might want to give the soil in your pots some protection if, during a rainstorm, water drips between the boards in the porch. Drops seem to form consistently from the same places, and can dig holes in your soil).
The south side of your house will be warmer and generally protected from those north winds we get.
