Very old posting, but - a beautiful stone! For me it shows the smiling head of a dragon.

hello thientraki eu, is perhaps stone hut, but perhaps upside is better, does not exist in suiseki body part, there Ganba head, arm, there is the intero.solo natural environment in the context there is a particular mountain up close, cascade, glacier, cave, tunnel, etc .. elements that live there must be whole, hut, animal human figure etc ...

In some river the water is sometimes low. Not the Rhine, unless you know a spot where the water is sometimes lower. Maybe the Donau, not sure. Where is central Europe? Shores might work too. As well as glaciers. Everything wotah works!

Forgive my lack of understanding, Im new to Bonsai completely... these rocks are for the root over rock bonsai artistry right? when the root system is exposed? Cool rock specimens either way, ive never even seen any like these before.

Hey Jay,
This is not for root over rock, these stones are selected to be displayed on their own.
You should google 'suiseki' or 'viewing stones'.
It's the good stuff.
