Pyracantha

Hi all!

Today i get this yamadori.
I think it is pyracantha. It have suffered some kind of injury in the past and the right branch have a very nice scar.






Any tip about it?

I think I would remove that large right branch. It looks as if it was almost torn away anyway. Pyracantha mend themselves VERY slowly (if at all), and always leave large, obvious scars so you probably will have to carve the current scar and the new one into a deadwood feature of this tree.
