Aye, it's been some time. I went through that thing where you lose a little interest and then it comes back again, strong. I think you know what I mean.

Missing U already
Well if we're in the "you show me yours ..." mode:
My root-over-rock Trident which I can never decide if I like or not. I do like its autumn display this year though and I actually managed to get a pic before the wind blew it all away.
(Chris - I like your polyglot attempt but the English teacher in me can't bring myself to missing out the "u" in colour. So I compromise on "Fall Colour" )

If you decide not to like it, there's always an empty spot in my garden

I do think you oughta like that tree, Fiona.
If we weren't having such a frog strangler now I'd take pics of my crepe myrtles. Later.

Sorry to be so long getting back to you: that dang thing called work got in the way again!will baddeley wrote:Who made the pot Fiona? Some good colours going on.
I'd be lying if I said I knew for certain but I am fairly sure (99%) it is a Walsall Studio Ceramics one. It is nice though isn't it? I still think the tree needs a slight twist round in it but that'll need to wait until Spring.

Shohin colours
Autumn colours just starting here. Weather turns colder, and more strength to the colours will appear the next weeks. One of my favourite times of the year. Here a few Mame and Shohin starting the show.

Beautiful shohins!
This is a new experience for me. I have never truly appreciated fall color until my current bonsai obsession. Now I see an amazing deciduous tree and wonder, what would this look like in fall? Beautiful trees folks.

Re: Autumn colour, Fall color
Stunning pics from Walter and Morten. I'm quite embarrassed to post my humble offerings after those.
Some more autumn colour from west central Scotland - currently bathed in sunshine and temperatures of 16C. This is the best display the Ginkgo has put on, and curiously the Acer has only just started to turn despite evey other maple in the garden (bonsai and garden shrubs alike) having already fallen to the Fall and lost their leaves.
