Hi Nellie,

Sure you can go to Bandung to see the show from 11 to 13, afterwards you can go to Bali for pleasure and big show. Remember that a very big bonsai show will also displayed in Badung some 10 km from the beautiful Kuta beach. You can then fly to Jogyakarta. I will inform you the travel agent who can do some help for you. Welcome to Indonesia.

Especially love those without jin/shari, love them for their more natural look (my preference)

I hear Pemphis is almost becoming endangered from over collection...I would have loved to get one but fear that might be the case with it.

The Indonesian Bonsai Society, the organizer of The Grand Indonesian Bonsai and Suiseki Exhibition represented by Mr Saptodarsono has just got an Award "The Order of The Rising Sun Gold and Silver Rays" from the Japanese government. The award was handed by The Ambassador of Japan for Indonesia Mr Etsuko Katori. Here are some pictures to see.

An other good news we got was:

Kunio Kobayashi san, one of the best bonsai masters in Japan, has agreed to come to Bandung. He will make a bonsai demonstration and a suiseki seminar on 11th and 12th October 2014.

This is one of my Casuarina sent to participate the exhibition of Indonesian Bonsai Society (PPBI) in Bandung starting next week, so for those who will not be coming to our IBA&CB 2014 in Yogyakarta for any reason, at least can still enjoy my collection....
