info on a kakejiku
Hello everybody,
i got this kakejiku as gift for christmas, it should be dated around 1900-1940, there is somebody who can help me to understand what there is wrote? and maybe if it will be possible to know who is the author.

there is a poster Jonathon maples who goes under the name of kakejiku who hopefully can help us...I was reading in one of Willi benz's books about using an index card in a display (other than japanese) to translate what is being said on the scroll. Interesting that the scroll survived the war. (world war 2 ) Great find! Will be watching for kakejiku's response...thanks for posting

Why don't you go ahead and get into the members column at the top of the page in the center and type in kakejiku. Then you'll see on jonathon's profile an opportunity to PM him. Ask him to go to your topic and explain it's name and location. he may be busy and hasn't noticed.
