New to the forum! My trees/progression Growing in SW Florida

Finally got some time to join the forum and post up some of my picks.  I use IBC for a lot of information and thought I show everyone my trees.   I like to try and grow trees that shouldnt grow in zone 10 and dont naturally grow here in Fort Myers.  I have around 30-40 bonsais split between Ft Myers and Fortlauderdale.   Here are a few.


My Dawn Redwood.   Difficult to grow down here, but as soon as November hit I defoliated it.

Some good growth for a nice windswept.


My Brazilian Rain Tree


Amateur attempt at wiring, ive enhanced my skills since then.  Defoliate around November to try and get another growth spurt out of it.


BRT grow so good down here.  December and its going crazy.

My pride and joy.  Around 27 years old.  Ive had it for 12 years now.




Had to grow it off the side of my building in college.  Still trying to find the original picture.  This is 3-4 years after I initially got it.


My bougainvillea stump, this is going to be amazing when it comes back


Back side of it, oh came with a free Acacia growing in the side.
