DOKUTSU-ISHI
On another thread I incorrectly posted a cave stone,
which I almost quickly removed when I realized,
that the topic was about tunnel stones.
So for those of you who may be wondering? here are the pictures.
This is an agate lit from beneath so you can peek inside the stone,
and see the glittering insides of the deep cave...

hEY dRE!
This idea came from you Bro!...
during your talk with Yvonne about displaying your raw diamond,
saw this little lighted stand at a yard sale, it was for a piece art glass,
a night light, wife bought it, so I just quietly borrowed the light stand.
When I found the agate the sun light passed right through it, wow!...
I could see the sparkling crystals inside!, boy was I pleasantly surprised.
Glad to hear from you Bro had missed you on the stone forum.
Hey dude can you show us a little elephant skin???...

Re: DOKUTSU-ISHI
MY FRIEND!
Very nice Agate! as I talked earlier, I love its red color so much.
But my friend! I am not sure of Agate is a mineral, If it is a mineral but not a stone, we can not consider it as a suiseki.
In short, I love this agate so much. Special, it is transparent, scarlet (bright red in colour)
By the way, you have an amazing avatar.
Best wishes,
Hiep

HEY LENNARD!
Were did you get that picture of me finding the agate?
that's exactly what I did SCREAM, like a little girl!!!
with totally excited abandonment, ya just like that.

*loudly*
Hiep my friend
But I know suiseki classifications allow for very colorful, fancy,
polished and even worked stones like turquoise, malachite, copper and many others,
to be formally displayed. The famous highly polished and carved flower stones,
of Japan are treasured, book called KIKKA-ISHI, chart called KIKU-ISHI
Chrysanthemum stones are labeled BI-SEKI beautiful stones.
But as an expert on nothing let me be the first to say that,
I could be wrong, confused or misinformed...

*what suiseki name for my avatar?*

Hi Hung...
Glad to hear you like it as much as I do!
When I peek inside deep cave I see a hidden secret world...
Our Friend Hiep is right! agate is a gem and not a stone,
so not suiseki or viewing stone. Maybe not good to post on stone forum.
But just fun to share anyways...

Just for fun to share anyways, Agate is also a stone. Not important.
I saw your Agate exactly looks like a FROG openning his mouth to intend hunting.
Best wishes,
