Growing Apricot Bonsai, Not Ume
Hello IBC,
I want to know if anyone has grown Prunus arminiaca (regular apricot) as bonsai. If you have, then I would like to know the pros and cons of this variety as bonsai. I know that their nodes and leaf size are naturally small, so that should be a plus.
Pictures would be great too.

I'm busy air layering an Apricot from the rootstock it was grafted to.
I was looking to buy a Pear (bit starved for material) and decided to rather take the Apricot.
Yes, trying, No, nothing to show yet.
