We have discussed it here and it has been a topi on other bonsai forums, I recall. If you go to our Home Page, you can search the site easily and you should find something.
But, those of us who grow bonsai in 100% INorganic medium are performing something very close to hydroponics.

If you go to the Home page as Jim suggests and type "Hydroponics" into the Google search box that you can find on that page you will get results. I did this and it gave me some 7 pages of possible previous topics. Remember to ignore the first two or three entries as these are generally adverts.

Yes. Its a big question that you are asking.
I grow now exclusively using fertilisers from hydroponics stores. My pest control is also from hydroponics stores. They are a great source of pots and growing mediums for you training as well.
I use canna fertilisers ( terra vega / bio vega ). these are excellent for pines and maples in baked clay based growing mediums. I also use a bit of biobizz fix mix on the pines to stimulate the mycorrhizal fungii - very effective with my scots pines.
The bulk of my growing medium is biosorb and supalite. sometimes i add a little pine bark to help the soil fungii along a bit.
I am testing out a few bonsai in coco based grow medium ( very good sofar ) using the canna A+B too. I have a citrus in this which is doing extremely well.
I am testing out growing some trees in a coco/compost mix ( with the compost giving an organic fertiliser effect ). Im not entirely happy with this approach and so far i prefer inert substrate.
