Re: Vietnam International bonsai show
Good to know you are home Jun, I am just home as well. Are you still sober after the parties..?
It was a great time with those great people, and specifically our demo collaboration.
I didn't take many photos of the bonsai in display, so maybe you can post them to share...

Thanks Robert.
Yes, home already and sober now. I got so drunk in the last night. Very warm people in Vietnam.
I'll post the pictures of the event and trees. and I also enjoy the demo work with you,,, It's like Like Batman and Robin hehehe!
Robert- "Robin, What the heck! this is not a pine tree, let's hack it down"
Jun- "Holly Molly Batman, you're right! Let's get it on!(few minutes later)...Now it's more like tropical tree, and I can see thru the open branches"
Looking down for more "Ryuga gadgets" the dynamic duo continue to battle with the fearsome tree...
Before...
The owner, we asked him to sign a waiver...hehehe.
After......now where is that owner, we can't find him anymore....hehehe!!!
regards,
jun

I can't believe the size of the trees on the steps to the entrance...

We could only do the global composition, still long way to go to obtain the details. However, if the owner can continue to work on ideal ramification structure, this will be a nice rafting style.

Will you post the winners?
Those huge trees in the front of the venue are amazing. Are they part of a national collection?
