definitely one of my favorite bonsai
and these pictures make the case for it being the most beautiful bonsai
i wish i could find some maple pre-bonsai

Hi, Justin. i don´t know the question.
Pines and juniperus is best to start from big trunk or yamadori tree.
Some goyomatsu (japanese white pine) in pic is grafting over kuromatsu (japanese black pine).

good material,but grow them in ODD NUMBER TRUNK,1,3,5,7,9. i think thats the rule,take out trunk that crosses each other in your view.

growing tree in pots up to 12 dm3 ... grow well, this tree is 10 years old from cutting.
