Re: maple prebonsai
Looks like that can be a nice clump. Would be nice to see it against a plain background.

Re: maple prebonsai
Very nice Athrin. Have you thought about a pot? Maybe a shallow oval light blue or light brown glaze would suit this tree! Do you have any shots with its leaves on?

And consider not planting it quite as deeply in the pot. It looks like there may be a nice base down there. Good stuff!

Re: maple prebonsai
No need to apologize for your English. I understand you just fine. Thank you for posting a recent picture. It will be a lovely tree! I think the dark blue pot would compliment the foliage quite well.
Keep us posted!

Hi Athrun, and welcome.
It's good to know that in neighboring Argentina exists that kind of good quality work. Congratulations. About your English language don't worry, here all bonsaikas help us to and those that have problems with the English and Bonsai too.
Now we are starting Spring time, so I´m sure your tree is coming nicely in a few weeks. Keep us updated
Spanish.
Hola Athrun y bienvenido.
Best Regards from Chile / Patagonia

I really envy you athrun and others with maple bonsais
I would love to have one of those tree and some pines to work on but I can't coz I live in the tropics and it will not thrive here.
Very nice maple you got there and it has a very promising future.
Dreaming for a maple and a mugo pine.

Re: maple prebonsai
Don't worry about your english. Your pictures say it all. Excellent material you are developing from cuttings. It looks very like Deshojo. Do you know the variety?

Re: maple prebonsai
Thank you for the note on the close up. That explains it. I am very impressed that you are propagating these from cuttings. I thought that Deshojo cultivars had to be grafted. Are you starting them as small cuttings or air layering?
Kev Bailey- Admin
Re: maple prebonsai
deshojo variety is easy cutting as ´yamamomigi´.
well if you intented plant it in field for fast growing, better is grafting.
i starting from cutting and air layering. deshojo maple is easy tree
it´s old foto, summer color
